Party Planning Tips


When it comes to party planning, organization is the Key. Make sure you have these on your list, after these things are taken care of the rest is cake...

1. The Event location- Where will you host the party can it fit the amount of people you want to invite? (sometimes you have to thin out your guest list)
2. The Guest List- How many people will be there.
3. Invitations- Make sure to always ask for RSVP by a certain date, this will help with planning the next steps. (You can make your own invitations or hire someone to design them for you)
3. The Menu- Make sure you keep in mind special needs your guests may have, such as food allergies. Always have a healthy alternative like a veggie platter or something in the healthier realm that will allow your guests with special dietary needs to enjoy your party without feeling deprived.(You can hire a Caterer, Buy food from different suppliers or make your own depending on the size of your party).
4. The Decorations- Balloons, Centerpieces, Ceiling and Wall Treatments, Food Plates, Napkins, Name Cards for the Seating arrangements, themed arrangements if party is a themed party, these depend on the type of party
5. The Entertainment- Whether it's a DJ, Live Music or a Boom Box, being ready to mix your music selection to meet everyone's taste is important. Think of your guests before yourself.
6. Make sure that you look for a Photographer or have a designated group of friends and/or family that will take pictures of your event so you can have memories of all the fun!

So now you have your location, guest list, invitations, menu, decorations and entertainment. You're more than halfway there, get working and enjoy the party!
